Skills4Jobs : A new Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) initiative for the upgrading of the young workforce’s skills launches with two pilot projects in collaboration with ReGeneration.

Includes actions for the development of knowledge and skills, and counseling and employment of young people with the participation of SEV member companies.

This new dynamic initiative aims to equip recent graduates with relevant knowledge and skills preferred by modern, organized and extroverted companies, connecting the country’s youth with the labor market.

Designed and implemented by SEV, starting with two pilot programs in collaboration with ReGeneration, the “Skills4Jobs for Electrical Automation” and the “Skills4Jobs for IT Application Technicians” are aimed at recent graduates of technology and technical education. In particular, Skills4Jobs includes:

1. Technical skills development for Electrical Automators from IBEPE-SEV and for IT Application Technicians from the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business.

2. Soft skills development

3.  Counseling & Mentoring , and

4. Employment for a period of at least six months with competitive salaries at SEV member companies located in Attica.

As the General Manager of SEV, Alexandros Hatzopoulos emphasizes: “With joy, but also with the hope to be as useful as possible for the SEV member companies and for the young men and women, we start today the Skills4Jobs program. We aim to enable our member companies to find employees with appropriate skills, to support our young people by investing in their training and employment, and to contribute in a practical and effective way to the improvement of vocational education and training of the country, through the facilitation of the transition of graduates into the modern labor market.”

Konstantinos Kintzios, Business Development Director at ReGeneration notes: “Since the birth of ReGeneration, we are convinced that the main path to exponential and healthy growth is through strategic synergies. Believing deeply in the power of multi-stakeholderism, we are today launching one of our most strategic partnerships, seeking together with SEV to build another bridge between the workforce and the labor market. Fully utilizing the know-how of the 90 and more ReGeneration academies, the 700,000+ hours of training, as well as the 2,600+ recruitments that have already been made through the program, we join forces with one of the strongest institutions in the country, preparing, for starters, two different pilot academies aiming to equip the participants with the skills necessary for the modern labor market, but also their absorption into it.”
