REGENERATION Ft. ”ΜΕ ΑLLA MATIA”

Are you familiar with the challenges individuals with disabilities face in the labor market? ReGeneration, with the accessibility consultant support of AMKE "Me Alla Matia" continues the effort to offer equal opportunities for professional and personal development to young graduates, with or without disabilities.

Are you familiar with the challenges individuals with disabilities face in the labor market?

Did you know…

●  There are about 1.3 billion people with disabilities worldwide.

●  The purchasing power of these individuals is estimated at 8 trillion (!), while the disabled have a much stronger incentive to spend, provided their needs are met appropriately.

●  In the European Union, 1 in 6 people have some form of disability.

●  More than 90% of respondents to all relevant surveys say they support more companies that hire people with disabilities.

●  In Great Britain, 3/4 of disabled customers and their relatives have left a company that does not take accessibility measures in its area.

●  Businesses there lost almost 12 billion GBP, in addition to their reputation,  due to lack of accessibility to their e-shops in one year.

●  Companies inclusive of people with disabilities are more creative, with 6 times more chances to innovate and implement successful changes.

●  At least 67% of those surveyed in a recent survey say they feel uncomfortable approaching people with disabilities. AMKE “Me alla Matia’’

For all these reasons and even more, there is an ever-increasing and urgent need for inclusion and accessibility!

How can my company become more accessible and inclusive?

ReGeneration, with the accessibility consultant support of AMKE “Me Alla Matia”,” continues the effort to offer equal opportunities for professional and personal development to young graduates, with or without disabilities.

The ReGeneration program’s General Cycle is fully inclusive since 2019, accessible to people with disabilities, with the aim of enhancing equality and accessibility in the labor market.

AMKE “Me Alla Matia”  provides corporate programs for disability, adapted to the needs of interested organizations.

Simply put, the program offers the expertise and personal experience with disability to guide a business on how to become more accessible and friendly to everyone.

These programs, which cover every aspect related to people with disabilities, meet every professional need, and can modernize a business in accordance with the internationally recognized principles of Diversity & Inclusion.

Take a look!

  1. Accessibility Consulting
The accessibility consultant undertakes management of  issues concerning socially vulnerable groups in a business, providing necessary training and communication. In collaboration with a Focus Group of persons with disabilities, the consultant also creates an accessibility profile for the partner company indicating potential improvements, while providing support throughout the collaboration on issues concerning inclusion.

  2. Customer Service & Visitor Training for the Disabled
This program was created to “break the ice” between employees and disabled people, making the entire process more comfortable for both parties. Through theoretical training, but mainly experiential exercises and actions for familiarization with disability, working people without disabilities will be able to “see” disability… with other eyes, through another lens.

  3. Digital Menus and Catalogs in Braille
For the visually impaired, the world of sight we live in is rarely friendly…unless those providing services (eg. catering) offer all the necessary tools for creating an inclusive environment! With the fully accessible, digital PopMenu4All, we can all view the list of a catering business on our mobile, whether we have a visual impairment or not. And for those lovers of the most “analog” media, a list in Braille offers equal access and autonomous service for the blind.

  4. “Recruitment Without Restrictions”
As is well known, companies are their people, and the more diverse the range of employees, the greater and more diverse the audience they address. That is why we conduct an inclusive recruitment seminar, specifically for the HR departments of interested companies.

  5. Assessing Accessibility of Digital & Structured Space
Accessibility is the ability of an individual to access, regardless of disability, both the physical space of a business and its digital presence (website, e-shop, communications via social media, etc.) The evaluation of the accessibility of these two types of spaces is carried out by a focus group of disabled people, who then indicate the points of improvement and good inclusion practices. Whether it is a physical store or a digital one, a detailed assessment of accessibility will help the business to reach its maximum audience potential.

Inclusive Business = The Best Business
And if we have to learn something from all this, it would be summarized in the following: A World for All.

We invite you to join us in becoming a valuable link in this ambitious project!
