Katerina studied Marketing Management at the American College of Greece (Deree) and got her Master’s Degree on Mass Communication from the University of Leicester, UK.
Having communications very close to her heart, she chose this professional path by starting working in Communication agencies such as V+O Communication, where, as an Account Manager, she handled big clients like Coca-Cola and Hilton Athens and undertook the design and implementation of corporate and brand communication strategies, media relations as well as project management.
During the Athens Olympics in 2004 and of behalf of Coca-Cola being one of the major sponsor of the Games, amongst other things, she followed the Olympic Torch Relay across Greece serving as the Company’s communication representative. One of the best and strongest experiences in her carrier!
In the following years she was found still working for Coke, this time from the company side, in positions like Corporate Communication Coordinator for Greece, Cyprus and Malta, gaining a wide experience in stakeholder engagement, media relations, crisis management, corporate comms etc. In her last position as Marketing the Category Manager for Central & Southern Europe, she was responsible for the implementation of strategies and plans for the category of sparkling beverages, cooperating with 23 countries in the specific business unit.
She speaks English, French and is currently learning Spanish, she travels and she loves live concerts (especially when these two combine!)
She thinks ReGeneration is an exciting journey and hopes that she will also contribute from her side in making the program fly even higher.
